Good news – we’ve just launched a brand new customer portal to make it easier to view and analyze your Glimpse reports.
You can check out the new portal at beta.glimpsecorp.com using your usual logins. The update will go live on the normal site later during the month.
In this article, we’ll cover the main changes in the portal so you know what to expect and how to make the most of it.
Ready? Let’s go.
1. Improved overall design
We wanted to make it easier (and prettier) to get quick insights to lost revenue and transactions that are at-risk for being lost. Here’s a video “glimpse” at the result:
After logging in, you can see your overall stats at a glance and navigate to a particular area to get a detailed report.
You’ll find all the sections and reports have a fresh new look, making use of new colors and positioning that’s easier on the eyes.
And once you open the scorecard for an area, you’re going to find some new additions.
2. New reports to help you increase compliance
We’ve introduced two additions to your standard business scorecard – the Employee non-compliance and the Non-compliance rate reports.
The Employee non-compliance report highlights employee performance in comparison to one another, and the employee with the highest amount of drinks served and accounted late on the POS.
This means you can see which staff members are doing a great job of ringing drinks on the POS and serving on time. On the other hand, you’ll know which ones are consistently making mistakes so you can take action to prevent unwanted lost revenue early on.
The Non-compliance rate report shows when you’ve had the highest amount of drinks recorded late on the POS, hour by hour.
So you’ll know the exact time frames when your staff as a whole is underperforming and needs more supervision or extra help. For example, you may find that during quieter times, compliance rates tend to drop as people are more relaxed and out of focus.
This allows you to set policies and measures in place to keep a consistently low non-compliance rate as measured by the number of late drinks and orders that were not recorded through the POS system.
3. Updated report overview
In the old dashboard, you were used to seeing your “Compliant” and “At risk” transactions in one place. This means compliant and at-risk drinks were bundled together.
We wanted to give you better insight on these transactions so the new Dashboard breaks down “Lost” and “At risk” items into separate metrics. Here’s how it looks like:
This way, you can take the appropriate measure – whether that’s speeding up the process or making sure people are putting every drink through the POS system.
4. Photos of unrecorded sales
The new portal will display the supporting images for each transaction and each category without further steps needed to be taken – so there’s no room for arguments in situations of non-compliance. This is how the new Transaction details report looks like:
This view will help you resolve issues faster and increase accountability among staff members.
You can also see a breakdown of Lost/At Risk and Compliant transactions so you can spot patterns and risk factors quickly.
5. Old is Gold (or what happens to your previous reports)
You can still navigate to your old reports by selecting a previous time period:
So even though we’ve added some great new features, we’ve made sure you still have access to your previous data.
This includes the summary report that gives you insight without having to analyze all the stats:
And you’ll see a better view of your historical transactions and performance over time:
We hope this will give you the best of the current version while we build on top of it with the new reports and overall design.
So, what’s next?
It’s time to get more out of Glimpse with all these great new features to our customer portal.
Just head over to beta.glimpsecorp.com and log in using your normal credentials – we look forward to your feedback.
